In 2022 I was offered a residency at Levenshulme Market, in a collaboration with friend and fellow local artist Laura Deane. This was made possible thanks to Jubilee funding from Arts Council England and Forever Manchester. Over three days at the market we supported 170 groups/individuals to make a self portrait in our pop-up studio – printing copies for them to take away. We also ran collage and drawing sessions where people were encouraged to make creative work which we displayed on the stall as we went along. The idea was to celebrate the fabulous community where we live and try to get people together. This work was exhibited at Levenshulme Old Library over the Jubilee weekend.
