Love v Style is a 12-page newspaper which I created using work produced with Vasile Dumitru and Anina Dumitrache, two young Romanian Roma people living in Manchester. The pair took part in the Council of Europe-funded Roma Matrix project in 2014-15, which supported them to develop small research projects into subjects that they found interesting within their own communities (Anina chose women and marriage, Vasile the changing fashions of young men). My role was to add a visual element to what they were doing, and to create an output with which to share this work. We ended up producing two very different mini projects and disseminated the work via this tabloid size newspaper. Two thousand copies were printed via Newspaper Club and distributed at meetings in Brussels.
