In my Own Words was co-produced with people from the Brick charity in Wigan and designed by Amy Cecelia Leigh. The zine contains images and collages produced by people who attended a series of workshops I ran at the centre, all of whom have experience of homelessness. Amy attended a number of these sessions and consulted participants on design and a group member came up with the title. The zine is available online, over here. The Brick plans to use the hard copies to hand out within their services, so people who use their spaces can read the stories inside – that to me is a really brilliant outcome.
