Here we found a safe place

The banner I produced with around 30 women from SWAP in Wigan is currently on show in the local museum, as part of an exhibition about life in town. The huge collaborative piece was created in pieces and stitched together by artist Lou Miller (who also helped with the overall design). Every bit of it was co-produced, from the tassels to the wording to the choice of design. It’s on show until 25 July.
