I spent four weeks in summer 2011 carrying out a commissioned documentary project in Hightown, an neighbourhood of my hometown Wrexham which has undergone physical and demographic change over recent years. I photographed 30 residents and spoke to them about their lives and relationship to the community. The work will be exhibited at Oriel Gallery in August and September 2011 – details here.

Both the photofilm and the book are personal additions to the project, which I feel make it more complete, and have not been commissioned by the funders (Arts Council Wales).
