down the allotment

My time with the Booth Centre, a drop-in for homeless and ex-homeless people in Manchester, continues. Yesterday afternoon I enjoyed some spring sunshine in the centre’s allotment, where several times a week a group of service users go to tend a variety of vegetables. I’ve already met some fascinating people at the centre and am starting to find my stride a bit more with it as a documentary project.
